Blair is native to both Marfa and San Angelo, having graduated from Wall High School. She earned her B.B.A, with a major in energy commerce and a concentration in petroleum land management from Texas Tech University. Blair continued to Texas Tech University School of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors in 2016. Following law school, Blair practiced commercial litigation in Fort Worth and Dallas, with a specialty in complex oil and gas litigation. In her time there, Blair represented ExxonMobil, XTO Energy, Continental, Union Pacific Railroad, Blackstone Energy, Home Depot, Simon Property Group, and others in lawsuits in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota, and federal courts. After 5+ years in DFW, Blair happily returned to West Texas, and joined Massey Balentine in 2022.
